Gordon Froud

Gordon Froud graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BA Honours in Fine Art, a Higher Education Diploma and a master’s degree in Sculpture. He has taught art at tertiary level in South Africa and London, and is currently the Head of the Sculpture Department at the University of Johannesburg. Froud has been actively involved in the South African and international art world as an artist, curator and gallerist for the past 25 years. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, and his work is represented in several public and private art collections.

Gordon Froud behaal sy BA Honneurs in Beeldende Kunste, ’n Hoër Onderwysdiploma en ’n meestersgraad in Beeldhoukuns aan die Universiteit van die Witwatersrand. Hy doseer kuns in Suid-Afrika en in Londen en is tans hoof van die Departement Beeldhoukuns aan die Universiteit van Johannesburg. Froud is die afgelope 25 jaar as kunstenaar, kurator en gallery-eienaar aktief by die Suid-Afrikaanse en internasionale kunswêreld betrokke. Hy neem deel aan verskeie kunsuitstallings, en sy werk word in talle openbare en private kunsversamelings verteenwoordig.
