Karla Duterloo

She was born and educated in the Netherlands where she qualified as an arts and crafts teacher. She spent time in the Caribbean, Switzerland and the United Kingdom where she started her mosaic workshops. She has mosaics in collections all over the world. She came to South Africa in 1988 and now lives in Cape Town.

Sy is gebore en opgelei in Nederland waar sy as kunshandwerk onderwyser gekwalifiseer het. Sy het tyd in die Karibiese Eilande en Switserland deurgebring en ook in die Verenigde Koningkryk waar sy met haar mosaïek-werksessies begin het. Sy het mosaïekwerk in versamelings oor die wêreld. Sy het in 1988 na Suid-Afrika gekom en woon tans in Kaapstad.
