‘The trees spoke to me softly of their desire to walk’

‘The trees spoke to me softly of their desire to walk’

Dreamscapes

This sculpture tries to imagine what the desires of a tree might be, with each impossible step it takes shaking loose a little bird, or morphing for a moment into an animal. The work speaks about fluidity and possibility, and how perhaps, before we can achieve the seemingly impossible, we have to imagine it.
