Skater Man
David Brown
2012
20 Stellenbosch
“Skater Man” by David Brown is about the precarious, comic, and sometimes tragic performance of ordinary people trying to keep their balance in a harsh, chaotic society. It uses the figure of a man on skates as a metaphor for urban survival: a fragile, improvised act in which movement, risk, and potential collapse are always present.
